Our Story
Passion, Culture, and Dance in Boston
Moves & Vibes was founded by dancers who fell in love with the beauty of Latin and Brazilian culture through music and movement. What started as a shared passion quickly became a thriving dance school — bringing together people from across Boston, Cambridge, and the greater New England area. We teach Sensual Bachata, Brazilian Zouk, Forró, Kizomba, and Samba because each style tells a different story and opens a different door.

Passionate, experienced, and deeply connected to the world of dance, Inna, Glenio, Edwin and Sorel bring a rich blend of expertise and cultural knowledge to every class. Their mission is to help you grow, feel confident, and fall in love with Sensual Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba, Samba, Salsa, and Forró whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or refining your skills. About Inna Grant
Owner and Instructor. Originally from Moscow, Russia, Inna fell in love with Latin and Brazilian dance after moving to the U.S. A trained dancer in ballet, ballroom, and Zouk, she has built Moves n’ Vibes into Boston’s go-to school for Sensual Bachata, Samba, and more. Her passion is creating a welcoming space where students can thrive.
About Glenio Oliveira
Founder. Born and raised in Brazil, Glenio has over 15 years of experience teaching Brazilian ballroom dances. Specializing in Samba de Gafieira, Forró, and Zouk, Glenio’s expert knowledge and charisma have shaped Boston’s Brazilian dance scene.
About Edwin Johnson
Instructor. With roots in Costa Rica and a background in Hip Hop, Salsa, and Zouk, Edwin brings unique urban flair and energy to every class. Known for his musicality and connection, Edwin loves helping students unlock their expressive power on the dance floor.
Sorel Sousa
Forró Dance Instructor. Sorel Sousa, originally from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais (Brazil), has been teaching forró for over 13 years. His journey in dance began through a social project where he was first introduced to forró. His talent and dedication earned him a scholarship at a local dance school, where he expanded his skills in other styles such as samba de gafieira, zouk, and more.
